(Every day will not be the same.)
This song is the first single off my Exalt EP. Mazuva haafanane talks about how each day is not the same as any other and how we should not judge each person based on where they are. They are simply going through a season and they will come out of it. What you experience today will not be same experience you will have tomorrow.
I wrote this song after a series of bad events, and even though I was constantly in a storm, I could see the hand of God in the midst of the drama. From an outsider, it would seem as if there is no hope, but an understanding of what God wanted me to learn in that season helped me to go through it and to endure, knowing that the testing of my faith would produce perseverance. I had to learn to rejoice in trials as they would eventually work out for my good.
‘Count it all joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.’ James 1 vs 2-4
So look out for the new single to be released on 1 August 2020.
